Unscrupulous employers may take advantage of this vulnerability, resulting in unfair wages, excessively long working hours, or even human trafficking.

For many foreign workers, the gleaming lights of the city are not a symbol of hope, but of a ceaseless struggle. A struggle to assimilate into a new culture, a struggle against exploitation, and a struggle for survival. They tread on a path laden with loneliness, their hearts aching for the warmth of home they've left behind.
